RMS Beauty - Makeup Naturally

My collection of RMS Beauty: Loved and well used 

Its been few years since I have discovered an amazingly natural eco-beauty line known as RMS Beauty. As you can see from the photo above I do own a few products from this brand which are: one Un Cover Up concealer, two Lip2Cheek products, one eye shadow and a Lip and Skin balm. They also carry cream bronzers, cream highlighter, face oil,  face powders, and lip glosses. 

Ingredients: RMS Beauty aims to use minerals in their beauty products. Their products are free of silicon, parabens or other chemical coatings. They also do not use nano particles which can easily be absorbed into the skin and therefore can cause future health concerns. Their main ingredients are Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Bees Wax, Jojoba Oil, Buriti Oil, Rosehip Oil, Tamanu Oil, Sunflower Oil, Propolis Extract (which is a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties). They also use non GMO Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract to name a few.

Lip2Cheek:

Pigmentation:Very strong pigments in their Lip2Cheek products; a little bit of colour goes a long way and last for hours. Colours are intense on the cheeks as well as on the lips. But will need to be reapplied on the lips after few hours if you are drinking or eating. Best to use over liquid or cream foundation and before the use of any powders on the face

Texture: I would recommend you warm up the Lip2Cheek products on the palm of your hands so the texture easily melt quickly and smooth out with your fingers before you apply on your cheeks. I usually dab the colour on my skin and then pat around my cheeks as I start to blend out the texture for more natural look making sure there are no harsh edges at the end of the application. Since it is packaged in a glass jar dont be fooled by the look or the size of it. It will last you for a long long time. No joke!

Lips: Lip2Cheek can be applied on the lips but I highly recommend applying the Lip & Skin Balm before applying your favourite colour. Otherwise the product can feel a bit dry and if you already suffer from dry lips such as myself then it will be more uncomfortable to wear any of the Lip2Cheek products on your lips. I also like wearing a lip liner with this product because I feels it gives more definition to my lips and looks more natural. Again it is an individual preference so do what feels right to you.

Un Cover Up:

Pigmentation and texture: I use this as my go to concealer under my eyes on a daily basis. Its creamy and smooth and its pigmentation is very good which is more yellow based; and not pinky or orangey tones at all. comes in various shades for light to medium skin tones. Unfortunately it doesn't have a shade for very dark skin tones. It lasts for hours on my skin but if you have oily skin then you will probably have to reapply after few hours.

Eye Shadow: 

Pigmentation and Texture: the eye shadow has a pretty good pigment but because its creamy I definitely have to use an excellent primer to lock the colour in place. My eyelids are really oily so unfortunately the shadow doesn't last all day long even applying with a primer. The colour doesn't fade away but it does crease a bit. But over all I must say that I truly love this brand and it does a really good job providing the type of pigment I want and love the selection of colours.
