Solar Day Cream by The Body Deli is another all-star moisturiser for all skin types. Even though its called the 'cream" it feels more like a lotion on my normal to dry skin, which I don't seem to mind at all. As a matter of fact fact I like the idea of packing on more products on my skin in addition to using this cream. I usually apply my serum or oil depending on envisioning what my day will be like. Sometimes I like to add a higher sunscreen on top the Solar Day Cream. That is because I like to protect my skin from the sun's UVA and UVB rays on days when I know I will be spending most of my days outdoors. My only complain about this product is that I don't know how much protection I am really getting by using this product alone. It does not contain any detailed information on how much Zinc Oxide is in the cream nor does it stress the fact that it can actually protect my skin from the UVA and UVB rays. I don't like to take any chances when it comes to protecting my skin from the sun since I am a bit paranoid about skin ageing and sun spots.
The main reason I call Solar Day Cream an all-star is simply because of its anti-ageing properties which helps to protect the skin from the environmental damage and it contains some excellent antioxidants such as Vitamin C, COQ10 (a natural antioxidant found in many foods which is great for skin cell function), Tocotrienols (which is a member of the Vitamin E family) and Pumpkin Seed Oil. I have pretty sensitive skin and I can firmly say that I never had any bad reactions whenever I apply this product. It also works great in conjunction with products from different brands. In Canada this product can be found only in few places and I highly recommend to everyone who is interested in trying this brand to check out their website at http://www.thebodydeli.com/collections/moisturizers/products/solar-day-cream. But if you live in the US then you are in luck since it is an all American brand.
I hope this article helps you get to the right skincare product which you may be searching for and if you have already tried it then please comment below to let me know your thoughts on this particular product or brand.
XOXO
