Makeup Manual Review

Hi beauties!!! So today I would like to talk a little bit about the Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual which I have owned for a while. I have been in the beauty industry for about over 11 years now. Throughout the years I have gained a lot of experiences by working for household names like Dior, Lancome, Chanel, Sheseido, Bobbi Brown, Stila and many more. I am mostly a self taught makeup artist. The only time I went to makeup school was at a College and took an intensive course for only 2 weeks and got my certificate that way. The only reason I did that was because I wanted to learn a bit more about makeup as well as have a certified professional name on my business cards; and plus the course that was offered fit great with my schedule and my budget as I have two little kids who need constant care. Yes, I wish I started this whole blog and vlog thing before I had kids but oh! well; you live and learn; right? As you all perhaps know that makeup school is not cheap, rather its very expensive. But I must admit that it was a good experience overall and I had tons of fun learning.
I first heard about the Bobbi Brown makeup manual by watching Wayne Goss who happens to be one of my favourite YouTuber. Seriously! He is awesome to watch. His videos are short and to the point. I am always learning something interesting from watching his videos. Anyway, when Wayne Goss suggested some makeup manuals that he recommends Bobbi Brown manual was one of them. So I head over to Chapters to  take a look and once I did after looking at several others I picked this one. I must say it was worth it. Bobbi Brown is all about simplicity and through her makeup lessons she shows how easy it is to create a certain look that you want. Nothing is complicated on this manual. Ofcorse she uses her products to demonstrate all her tutorials but at the end of the day you can use any brands to create all the looks you see on the manual. It is great for beginners or a pro. And even if you are not a makeup artist you can still learn a lot from this book. I highly recommend you take a peek at it!!

Hope this helps you to learn a bit more about makeup if you wish to. Just remember if you are passionate about anything you do, you will be successful in life! By the way, this article is solely based on my own opinion and I am not getting paid to promote this book.

Please leave a comment below as I would love to hear from you!! And please feel free to share my blog on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instegram.  Thank you. Xoxo
