Pure Anada Tinted Moisturizer and Loose Mineral Foundation Review

Here is a recent discovery of one of the natural Canadian makeup brands known as Pure Anada. I have been using their Sheer Radiance Tinted Moisturizer on my face and I have been loving it. Why? because unlike other tinted moisturizers this one does not leave a greasy feeling on my skin and provides the right amount of hydration for my skin (which is more on the dry side). My skin feels luminous and the coverage is just right (which is more of a medium coverage). The mineral pigments used in this product offer natural sun protection. So that's a plus!!! It is great for dry skin but also good for mature skin. It contains certified organic ingredients such as Sunflower Oil and Grape Seed Oil. I have been also using the Loose Mineral Foundation by this brand which I am more than satisfied with because I am usually not a fan of powders or powder foundations since they usually feel dry on my skin but this one does not feel dry one bit. Great for all skin types. Great for hot summer weather when I don't feel like wearing too much makeup. I can easily apply this on my face with a medium size brush in a circular motion and voila --- I am DONE!! My current favorite cleansing system- Clarasonic Mia 2 and Juicy Bamboo

Hi everyone! Sorry for not being able to keep up with my blogging routine the past few weeks. Its been crazy busy in my world. I am getting ready for a wedding which will take  place in Europe. So busy organizing and planning everything. Need to make a list of things which I will be taking with me in my carry-on luggage such as my beauty products definitely coming with me in the air plane..hehe!! And speaking of some of the beauty products which I will be bringing with me I must include my two most important items which I use to clean my face with. And they are: 

Clarasonic Mia 2: I must admit that this product is heavenly sent item to me. I can not live with out. I don't know how I have survived before without it. It has completely revolutionized my daily cleansing routine. So EASY and FAST when I use this to take my makeup off at the end of the day. I love the way my skin feels after; squeaky clean and NOT dry!! I know it has been around for a while now. But I didn't know why it is so popular among my friends and other beauty bloggers until I started using it. At first I was using the regular brush head for normal skin but then I have switched to the Sonic Radiant Brush Head (click on the link to be directed) because I just wanted to test it out. And I must admit it does WORK!!! I was left with radiant skin after just one use. I mean this sounds crazy I know!! I was skeptical at first and I am the type who is hard to please when it comes to beauty products!! I have to BELIEVE in a product wholeheartedly otherwise it will NOT make the list. I mean this stuff is not cheap so you have to make sure its worth your money and time, right? By the way, you can use pretty much any face cleansers to be able to use it with your own Clarasonic but I use the Clarasonic Mia 2 (click on the link to be directed) just because it appealed to me more and has longer product guarantee that's all. 

Juicy Bamboo Natural Facial Cleansing Cloths:  Juicy Bamboo (click on the link to be directed) has become my favorite facial cloths because unlike other facial wipes this does not irritate my skin nor do I get any breakouts on my skin after using it. It is natural brand and so that's always a PLUS for me!! I have tried so many facial cloths before but none of them seemed to work as good as this one does. I usually use it during the days when I have very minimum makeup on because I prefer to use my Clarasonic to remove heavier makeup faster and efficiently. Cleansing cloths in my opinion are great for when I am travelling, like going to the cottage or driving/or flying somewhere where I am unable to use water. Each of these cloths are soaked in vitamins like B12, C and E. Made with unbleached bamboo natural fibres which means they have a lower environmental impact than a standard wipe. It also has honey! My Monthly Favorites (JUNE 2015)

Hi everyone! I have decided to add my monthly favorites from now on because I have realized that since I use so many products  I usually like to rotate them according to my skin condition and needs. Here are some of my FAV (favorite) for the month of June. 

100% Pure Mushroom & Peptide Eye Cream  (click on the link to be directed) You can read my review on it on my previous article and read about some of the reasons why I love this eye cream so much and now I have added it to my June favorites since I been using it daily. One word to describe this eye cream is "glow"!!! I love how it gives a subtle glow under my eyes after applying it gently. 

Living Libations Chocolate Karat Serum (click on the link to be directed) You want to wake up with a glowing skin in the morning then add this baby to your regime!! I love everything about this serum. I don't know what attracted me the most about this serum; think it maybe the Chocolate in it!! LOL!! Head over to my previous reviews on this gem and you will know what I mean!! This is by far one of the best serums I have tried and trust me; I tried a lot of serums---from the department store brands to all the Sephora brands. Yes, five years ago I use to use department stores stuff that are filled with chemicals I can't pronounce. I don't think my skin was any better. It was the same. 

Living Libations Rose Glow Face Cream  (click on the link to be directed) Another great moisturizer from Living Libations. If you haven't tried it then you are missing out. It is packed with some great natural ingredients which will sure to blow your mind. Read my previous review on it and you will learn more about this great face cream.

I was eager to try this brand because of it's philosophy behind its brand. I only use it twice a week so I can use my other facial oils and serums  as well.

This is Body Butter is my all time favorite because I have very dry skin and this stuff works!! Simple!! I LOVE the smell!! It smells like chocolate and coconut!!! YUM!! It only has three ingredients. I use this body butter daily all over my body. My skin stays hydrated for the whole entire day!!

100% Pure Purist Mushroom & Peptides Firming + Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream Review

Here is my recent review on the newest eye cream which I have added to my eye cream collection. It is the organic Purist mushroom& peptides firming + anti-wrinkle eye cream by 100% Pure (click on the link to be directed to the website). I don't have any concern for wrinkles yet but I found this to be nourishing and glowing under my eyes. And yes, glow is the word!! I love the way my under eyes look after applying this eye cream. I use it day and night by applying with my ring finger (because it has the least amount of pressure) around and under my eyes patting gently. Wearing makeup on top of it is super easy and glides on great!

Living Libations Rose Glow and Chocolate Karat Review

Happy Monday everyone! As promised here is a review of one of my soon to be favorite skincare brands. The brand is called Living Libations and to read more into this all natural non-toxic brand you will have to click on the brand name to be directed to their website. How I have discovered this brand? Well, in short; I was reading an article on Into The Gloss blog site about how actress Shailene Woodley prefers to use all natural skincare and makeup on her skin when she is not on set. She swears by the Living Libations brand. So then I thought to myself that I must give it a try since many other people are also raving about this brand as well. I am the kind of person who is always searching for ways to improve my life and my body. It is a journey for me and I enjoy experiencing going through all the ups and downs that come with it. Ok lets get started here!!

Rose Glow Creme: Its the first ever product I have tried from this brand and fell in love instantly. It goes on yes, pink but does not make the skin look pink. It's more like a glow. And if you been reading all my previous articles then you probably know by now that I am all about the glow. Mastering glowing skin is kind of my thing!! Yes, you are allowed to laugh!! It's great for oily, combination or slight dry skin. But if your skin is very dry or dehydrated (like mine) then I would recommend you try this cream in conjunction with a serum. You can use it day or night. No rules here. You can use it under makeup as well. Yay!! Just make sure you wait 15 minutes before applying makeup. 

Ingredients: Rose water, Shea butter, seaweed extract, Aloe Vera, herbs infused with golden jojoba oil, green tea, Elderflowers, rose hips, horse tail, Comfrey, rosebuds, nettles, marshmallow, Seabuckthorn, orange wax, rose wax, lavender, Rose Otto, Neroli, Immortelle, Palmarosa, carrot seed, lemon, Schizandra berry, geranium, antioxidants of rosemary and sage, rosemary extract and sage extract. Why I love it:  I feel that this moisturizer really understands my skin's needs. It is considered to be healing and nourishing for the skin. I also love the fact that how gracefully all these ingredients work well together in harmony. It is a complete botanical based face cream which is more than just a simple natural moisturizer. 

Chocolate Karat Serum: This one is for sure going to be my all time favorite serum. I don't remember ever using anything as great as this one. And as you all know the beauty industry is just oozing with serums and potions. This by far the best quality and surprisingly all natural organic serum I have ever come across. My skin just loves to bathe in it. After using the Chocolate Karat Serum (click on it to view) I feel that my skin feels dull and lifeless without it. I use it day and/or at night depending on my skin needs. I also use it in conjunction with the Rose Glow face creme. 

Ingredients:  Made with golden jojoba oil, cacao, carrot seed, Rose Otto, Immortelle (works through the deep cellular level of the skin by healing, reducing inflammation and soothing), ORMUS gold (healing for the skin).

Why I love it: Wonders of nature! That's what I like to call this serum. I don't know how it all works so great on my skin but I sure am thankful to this brand's creator Nadine for coming up with such a great idea of using all kinds of healing botanical ingredients to improve our skin naturally. 

If you want your skincare to work for you naturally then this brand is for you. Obviously you don't need to be an eco-beauty lover to love this brand. Anyone with an open mind can try Living Libations.

Sigrid Naturals Honey Pie Facial Exfoliator and Mask Review

Happy Wednesday everyone! As promised here is my review on the Sigrid Naturals Honey *Yummy* Pie facial exfoliator and mask! As mentioned on the product; yes it is for glowing healthy skin. That's only if you love having Chocolate as one of the main ingredients. I know I do!! It tastes oh so yummy when time to time I accidentally taste it in my mouth. 

It is "crafted with local honey, beeswax and poppy seeds and accented with organic spirulina (which is to ward off free radicals) and chocolate (which helps to rejuvenate and detoxify the skin)." It also contains organic sugar for exfoliation and sunflower oil for hydration and healing and lastly turmeric which tones by leaving the skin fresh and radiant.  

Application process: After cleansing my skin using Clarasonic Mia 2 I wet my face and then apply the Honey Pie gently all over my face except the eye areas. I leave on for at least 25-30 minutes and then rinse well with warm water and remove the excess residue with a hot wash cloth. Trust me the whole process is worth it!!!I usually do this routine at night few hours before going to bed.

Results on my skin: My skin looks RADIANT! No Joke!!! I have dry skin so I am always looking for skincare products that will give my skin radiance and glow. I feel like I just came out of the spa. Anything I put on my skin afterwards goes on really well. And that makes me and my skin very very HAPPY!! I think this Honey Pie mask/exfoliator could become one my all time favorites!!!

100% Pure honey & coconut restorative shampoo and Carina Organics pure and natural deep treatment conditioner

As promised here is my review on the two most recent hair care products which I have been trying out. Its been over a month now since I have started to wash my hair with the 100% Pure Honey & Virgin Coconut Restorative Shampoo and Carina Organics Pure & Natural Deep Treatment Conditioner. 

First let me talk about the shampoo by 100% Pure. On the product itself  it is labelled as "to restore dry, damaged hair." So if you have dry, damaged (or chemically treated) hair then this one is for you. Honestly, I have tried and tested many many hydrating hair products over the years (natural and not so natural) that promise the world to me but at the end of each trials the results were..eeh..so so..or nothing different at all. But after discovering this baby (thanks to 100% Pure for recommending) I am now HOOKED!! Not only it moisturizes my hair (which by the way is not all real-I do have added extensions) but it keeps it looking healthy, hydrated and shiny. I can go on for days without washing my hair and it still feels soft and hydrated. It has a light clear texture and smells oh so delicious! Love using it on my color treated hair. It does not have any synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, sulfates, detergents, or any other harsh ingredients. By the way totally loving their makeup as well. I love the fact that this brand is so versatile!

Now comes the conditioning part. Ok! here is a brand which many of you may or may not be familiar with but I am letting you know through my blog that you are truly missing out on a great product if you haven't tried Carina Organics hair care products.
